Yesterday night my good friend Kathreen had her go away party. It was nice, but also sad, to say good bye to friends that I’m propably never see again, or not for a long time…Than I slept in Sarah’s house. This morning I got to sleep in…I can’t remember the last time I slept in, the last weeks were so busy….It’s a beautiful day, the sun is out and it’s not so cold anymore..so Sarah and me took a walk with her little kid this afternoon…it was nice to spend some time with her alone..she became a very good friend over the last weeks.

Today Harper is coming back from Boston..I’m happy….I like him and I like hanging out with him..

yea…what can I say, my world is changing, but I’m excited…..

My last week in Chicago…I can’t believe that the year is over. I’m happy though to be done with my work as an Au Pair…Today I was still helping out, showed Beatriz everything and such. But she is doing pretty good and the kids like her, so there should be no problem. So, from tomorrow on I will be just doing what I want to do, how nice…

I’m not that sad right now though, I’m rather excited to see all my friends in Cologne. I will be sad in a couple weeks…like, ok I saw you guys, can I go back to Chicago now?…I’m scared about that moment.

I’m sad that Harper is in Boston till thursday…oh my…….

This store is so bad….I mean they just have so much silly stuff, and than it’s so cheep…so you just buy and buy……
It’s so good to be not working anymore….And my next couple days I’m going out…for nice dinners and going away partys….I’m excited…

I bought another bag….but since I bought so much stuff at Target today….I have to buy another bag…or just stay here in Chicago. That sounds good to me….Please can I…guess not..mmm, darn

yea, soon I’m going back to cologne. Sad, but also exciting to see my parents and my friends. I’m living out of my bags, since the new Au Pair finally took advantage of MY room. I’m sleeping in my kids beds the last couple of days….

Today my host family came back from Tahoe. I’m officaly done beeing an Au Pair, yieppie! And the best part is: No more laundry to fold, accept my own!!! I hate doing laundry….

I just came back with Beatriz (the new Au pair). We drove around Chicago and than we went to have dinner with some friends…and it’s still cold, darn.

Saturday afternoon…Dylan is down for a nap and I have a bunch of work to do, because my hostfamily is going to be back from skiing tomorrow. They’re allready on their way, but it’s a long drive back from Tahoe….

Harper came over last night and we watched shipping news, that is a good movie, I like it.

Next week I have to buy some silly touristic things like a chicago shirt or a mug from Starbucks, silly me..I like coffee and I already drank too much of it today, I should stop…I will, in two weeks..promise.

since i still felt a little bit sick yesterday evening, i took this crazy medicine. I took it around 8.oopm when i brought dylan to bed. Than i fell asleep right away, even if i didn’t mean to, because the medicine was one of those “drouzy” ones. So, you can’t really do anything after you took it, accept sleep…
So I went to sleep at 8.oo. Than at like 9.oo i got a call from a friend and i picked up the phone but i couldn’t really talk, it was like dreaming. And the best thing is: I don’t really fell better today! silly medicine…I’m not gonna take it ever again. I think tea and juice works better for me. Sooo, anyways.
I just talked to my dad on the phone for like an hour…Since i’m going back to cologne soon, everybody is excited, accept me, I have to get a little bit more in the “yieppie i’m back!” mood. I wanted to watch the neverending story yesterday evening..but, yea i allready talked a lot about that problem i had…so i think I’m going to do that now..and eat a little breakfast…

Ok, i like to stay inside the house, yea i would say I’m a “houseperson”, but this is just too much. You can’t go anywere because of the weather…it’s so cold. So, that drives me a little bit crazy.
But I have a nice little dvd-player right now and some good movies, so when dylan takes his nap or is in school or goes to bed i get to watch nice movies….thanks harper.

I packed some more stuff today, and i realized: I NEVER CAN MAKE ALL THIS STUFF FIT! I have to buy another bag, and propably gonna end up paying a lot for too many bags on the airplane, whatever….

It’s just to cold to go outside the house. Freezing…….

I like today. It’s nice and sunny outside. Still to cold though….My lazy day is still not so exciting, accept this website (hihi). Later i’m going to a friends house with Dylan, we take the bus I guess, because parking in belmont sucks..yep
Maybe tonight somebody is coming over…so i’m not all alone..boring. Maybe with some dvds (hihi)……
