So, I just realized that I have three more weeks to go and then the term is over. It went so quick. And still, I have lots of stuff to do. I have two written exams and I still have to finish correcting my paper on Mark Twain. And, and, and.

Otherwise there is not much happening. Kaya is on vacation with her parents, here. I want to go on vacation so bad. Oh well. Hav eto stay here and go to school, bäh.

still no school

Monday, June 20th, 2005

So, we’re still on a strike. There had been a lot of protest and demonstration going on. I’m a bit concerned because of my classes. They are not taking place right now and I’m worried if I’ll get the credits for class. Especially my mahts class.
Here are pics from the strike action.

strike

Wednesday, June 15th, 2005

So, my University is on a strike, no classes. This morning I went to class and couldn’t get into the building. There were people on every door and asking everyone why they want to get in. They were screaming: strike breaker! It was cool. I actually don’t know what to think about the strike and what it’s all about. I think paying 500€ a term is ok. Anyway, here are some pics from the voting for the strike yesterday. I’ll keep you posted.
The good thing was, that I wasn’t really prepared for classes today ;-)
We’ll see. I’m actually quite pesimistic concerning the student fees being introduced…

I just found this. I’m such a dork when it comes to Chicago. Whatever. I was excited to hear that train voice again. Fun.

bad hair

Friday, June 10th, 2005

I got my paper on Mark Twain back to work on it some more, it’s not good yet. I was sad, because I thought it was good. But it’s good to get the chance to do it again and not get a bad mark for it right away. But I hate working on stuff for school lately, …lately?…well always.
So, concerning my hair, I went to the doctor this morning and she gave me oil for my scalp, I have to rub it in every night, hopefully it helps. And they took some hair with the roots (autschi!) to check if the differents between growing hair and hair that’s falling out isn’t too great.

time’s running

Tired, but so much to do today. Yesterday I recognized that the term ends in 7 weeks. It’s nice, but also not, because I should start to study a bit more for my tests at the end.

I got to practice my English last week. My friend Anne and me went to have coffee with one of her friends from a school she did an internship at. She was from England, and left that day, so Anne wanted to say good bye. She had a very british accent. It’s funny, but my English sound sso much more british since I study.

Ah, well I should shower now and such…don’t want to.

Oh, thanks for the concert recommendation Harper. I gotta see if I can go.

bold soon

Thursday, June 2nd, 2005

I’m losing a lot of hair lately. It’s so much, that it scares me. I think I’m gonna call my doctor tomorrow. I still have a lot of hair, but it’s constantly falling out. We’ll see.
Not much else going on. I heard a lot of bad talks in my classes this week. I’m so tired of people holding talks that are bad. I mean, i don’t really learn a lot from it, I always say to myself, oh well..I’m gonna look it up myself, that’s more interesting. In my English classes it’s so bad, I can’t really understand them…their English is not good. I don’t wanna be mean, but it’s important to have clear and correct English while talking. Sorry…I’m too mean. Oh well, I just hate talks. Mine are not good either ;-)…yes they are!

I watched Dancer in the Dark a couple of days ago. i thought it’s a funny movie with dancing and singing, it is in a way, but also very cruel. It is the kind of movie that leaves you in a bad mood for a while…

I think I’m gonna sit down now and do maths for next wednesday. Isn’t that exemplary?!
