Merry Christmas…

I just found out that I have a 1.3 in an English paper for my didactic course. That’s the best grade I ever had. I’m happy. Now I gotta go to Uni. Have a long day today. First my maths practice, then pilates (to make me strong) and afterwards my class about how to support the reading development with little kids, which is quite interesting.

On sunday, Anne and me are going downtown to walk around and take pretty pictures of Cologne. I post them afterwards.

Ok, I should really update this site more often. I thought about writing a bit more in German, but I should also write in English, because it’s a good practice for my exam and such. Exam, oh my. It’s not that far away anymore. And it’s so hard. In my English exam I have to write an essay, which is not that difficult I guess, and I also have to translate German into English, and that sucks. It’s so hard, because the German word order is so different then the English one. You have to turn it around and such. By that you can make so many mistakes if you have a sentence that is three lines long and has three commas in it. I’m scared of that test. And I have the feeling that reading a lot of English books doesn’t really help. And I’m reading a lot. We have a list of books that we have to read until the exam. So far I have read Huckelberry Finn and Middlesex. We don’t have to read all the books. Just four novels, all the poems and four dramas. So, if anyone can recommend a book on this list let me know.
I have to be creative now, have to make a present for my dance classe’s christmas party. Everyone has to make a handmade present and then we gonna put them all together in a bag and everybody gets one. I’ll take a pic of my present. And I’m gonna take some pics at the party and post them later.
