rain
I guess this rain is just following me wherever I go. I’m in Chicago now and I haven’t been doing a lot since I’m here. On sunday I watched Bridgette playing soccer and on Monday I watched Maddie and Bridgette ice skating. It’s amazing to see how good they are now. When I saw them the last time three years ago they were just starting with soccer and ice skating. This morning they had skating class at 6.30 in the morning, and since it was so early and I was still jet laged I drove them to the skating ring. My first opportunitiy to use the car 
I can’t really remember being jet laged. This time it’s really bad. I wake up at 5 in the morning and usually around 6 in the evening I’m ready to go to bed.
I haven’t been downtown yet because of the weather. And I haven’t been to Belmont. Hopefully the sun will come out soon. On Monday I met Harper for dinner. I met him at his work and he showed me around there. They make really cool t-shirts. We drove to Bucktown and had dinner at some noodle place. I was so tired, so I wasn’t as talkative as usual. Afterwards I got to use the “L” for the first time in three years. It’s all very hard to describe. It all feels familiar and strange at the same time, being in Chicago again.
This morning I went to Target with Ellen. I bought a nice shirt and shoes with stars on them. They are sort of like fake Vans. I like this store. You just spend too much money…
